Shahid Kapoor, who will be seen playing a Punjabi rockstar, Tommy Singh in his upcoming film 'Udta Punjab' has developed a taste for Punjabi music. Apparently, Shahid started listening to Punjabi music after his song 'Mauja hi Mauja' from 'Jab We Met'.
According to a report in IndianExpress.com, Shahid's spokesperson says, "Shahid's taste in Punjabi music is varied, and his music collection is amazing. This is one of his favourite genres." The report says that the music helped Shahid Kapoor slip into his onscreen character with ease, who will help build awareness on the topic of drug abuse faced in India.
The first song of the film 'Chitta Ve' has been released.
