ESCAPE ON WAY TO TIHAR JAIL
In 2014, Lodhi Colony police station arrested accused Gaurav in a case related to fraud and cheating. On July 31, 2014, he was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. Constable Hawa Singh was escorting him to Tihar Jail. When he stopped to get food for Gaurav, his brothers Vikram and Manish reached there and requested Singh to allow them to get Gaurav's signature on the Vakalatnama. After that, the accused kept changing their locations and identities very frequently. The police recently got a tip-off that the trio were living in Mumbai under fake identities. They have been arrested from Mumbai.
