One of the most beautiful and multi-talented actresses of the Pollywood industry, Neeru Bajwa has never disappointed her admirers. She has not only worked in the Punjabi entertainment industry, but her journey goes back to 1998 when she starred in Main Solah Baras Ki with the legendary Dev Anand. Even after having an experience of two decades, Neeru Bajwa still performs on the screen like it is her very first time.
In a recent Instagram post, she wrote that she still gets nervous and excited before her every shot. She thinks that no one can ever be a know-it-all, one has always something or the other to learn from life. She also said that those who believe that they know everything, are the ones who lack knowledge. This wise post was shared with the captions,
I still have the same excitement,nervousness, happiness before every shot… every film still feels like my first , I pray god always keeps this feeling within me … I never want to stop learning. An actor who thinks he/she knows it all … trust me knows nothing !
Neeru Bajwa was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In her documentary film, Bollywood Bound, she confessed that being a high school drop-out, she had a very little fascination with studies. She wanted to be a part of Bollywood and live a glamorous life. This is when she decided to move to Mumbai.
After acting beside Dev Anand, she switched to soap operas in 2003 and acted in Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi on DD1. Later she acted in many other soap operas including Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani on Zee TV, Jeet on Star Plus and Guns and Roses on Star One. Then she embarked her journey in Pollywood with her debut in Asa Nu Maan Watna Da in 2004 with Harbhajan Mann. Neeru kept paving the path of success with her hard work and optimism. She later gave many blockbusters like Jinhe Mera Dil Luteya, Jatt & Juliet, Jatt & Juliet 2, Naughty Jatts, Proper Patola and many more.
Her latest release Laung Laachi also earned huge appreciation from the audience. Neeru acted opposite the most-loved Punjabi singer Ammy Virk in the flick released on 9 March this year. Its title song had her wearing a beautiful golden Patiala salwar-suit with a green dupatta. Neeru was highly applauded for her graceful dance in the music video garnering more than 101 million views on YouTube.
Moreover, she also has her own production company named Neeru Bajwa Entertainment. In 2017, she directed the movie Sargi, marking her first debut film as a director.
Neeru Bajwa is coming with her upcoming Punjabi film, Atte di Chidi, acting opposite to Amrit Maan. Rabb Da Radio director Harry Bhatti is making the flick which will hit movie screens nationwide on this Dussehra, 19 October.
