Aaargh damn these remakes which are spoiling our favourites! We just came across the redone version of Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah's 'Proper Patola' for this upcoming Bollywood flick Namaste England starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
The original one was so classy but this one looks like a spanish tadka to the song just to make it a dance number. The video is just not upto the mark.
Released in the year 2013, Proper Patola with Badshah has been considered to be Diljit's breakthrough track, which has been viewed millions of times on the internet. This song even inspired a lot of Punjabi singers to step into the urban segment of Punjabi singing. Many singers started exploring their RnB side after this track. It was also the first Punjabi track to be featured on Vevo.
The original track was sung by Diljit Dosanjh and the music was done by Badshah and Sachh. The video was directed by Gifty. It was penned by Badshah and released by Sony Music Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd.
