On Friday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a luncheon, emphasising how India is a part of their daily lives. Blinken acknowledged America's admiration for Diljit throughout his words.
The president of the United States also cited Jhumpa Lahiri's works, samosas, and Mindy Kaling's comedy.
"India is a part of our daily lives here in the United States," he explained. We read Jhumpa Lahiri novels while eating samosas. Mindy Kaling's comedy make us chuckle. At Coachella, we dance to Diljit's tunes. And, Mr. Prime Minister, I can tell you from personal experience, yoga helps us stay fit and healthy. Our robust Indian diaspora enriches the United States innumerable ways. Doctors, professors, engineers, business leaders, and public officials greeted you on the White House lawns yesterday."

Diljit was indeed touched by the Blinken’s address. He took to social media to share a video clip of Anthony Blinken’s speech.
When he became the first Punjabi musician to perform at Coachella in April, the 39-year-old created history and made every Indian delighted. Coachella is an annual music festival held in Indio, Coachella Valley, California, featuring world-renowned performers from all over the world.
Diljit will next be seen opposite Parineeti Chopra in Imtiaz Ali's Chamkila. The Netflix film is based on the life of Amar Singh Chamkila, Punjab's first rockstar. Amar Singh Chamkila became a household name in the 1980s because to his powerful song. He was assassinated at the age of 27. Chamika is still regarded as one of the most gifted live performers in Punjab.

In an interview, Diljit stated that playing Amar Singh Chamkila was one of the most difficult experiences of his life. Diljit will appear in The Crew opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, in addition to Chamkila. Rhea Kapoor is a producer on the film.
